Spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ throughout our community and the world since 1856
|
|
Located in the northeast corner of Nebraska, the Dakota City United Methodist Church is a friendly, caring, Bible-based church that was founded in 1856 and has served our community and surrounding area for the past 150 plus years.
If you are looking for a new church home, we cordially invite you to come and join us every Sunday morning. We're located just two blocks north of the Dakota County courthouse. Our worship service begins at 10:30 am and is preceded by Sunday School starting at 9:15 am for all ages 3 through high school.
Even if you don't live in the vicinity and are only traveling through the area some Sunday morning, why not stop in? Visitors are always welcome!

God asks us to care about each other and pray for each other. Anyone desiring to be a Christian - just follow these three steps:
ADMIT - That you have sinned and not lived up to God's righteous requirements. BELIEVE - That Jesus died for you, to pay the penalty for your sin. He will forgive you if you ask Him. CONFESS - Make a public profession of your faith in Jesus as Savior and Lord, with a desire to follow Him.
